VASCERN is financially supported through several sources, including the European Commission, national governments, and hospitals. Our project has received funds from the European Commission since 2017, and it has also received funding from hospitals and research organisations. From May 2023, the European Commission will fund the entirety of our budget.
Our funding for the period of March 2022 to August 2023 is €1.3 million, which is distributed across a variety of projects, including registries, clinical patient management systems (CPMS), eLearning, and monitoring, all aimed at improving the diagnosis, treatment, and management of rare vascular diseases. We also received additional funding from the French government.
At VASCERN, we are committed to providing the best possible care for rare vascular disease patients. We are grateful for the support we receive from our funders, and we will continue to work hard to find new ways to improve the lives of those affected by rare vascular diseases.
