What is the VASCERN Summer School?

The VASCERN Summer School is an educational program dedicated to advancing knowledge in rare vascular diseases among the next generation of healthcare professionals across Europe. Supported by the ERASMUS+ Blended Intensive Program (BIP), the summer school offers a unique combination of online and onsite learning, allowing participants to gain in-depth insights from top European experts and patient representatives.

Program Structure

The VASCERN Summer School is structured into two parts:

  • Online Module: A 15-week online program offering flexible learning.
  • Onsite Module: A one-week intensive program in September, providing hands-on experience and face-to-face interactions with experts.

The full course is equivalent to 3 ECTS and for a total duration of between 75 to 90 hours. All courses will be taught by our experts in rare vascular diseases and patient representatives.

Who Can Apply?

Medical students (undergraduate, master’s, or PhD level), medical residents, and post-doctoral researchers from European universities are encouraged to apply.
