VASCERN Summer School Alumni Community

The VASCERN Summer School Alumni Community brings together former participants to foster connections and collaboration with VASCERN experts.

This initiative aims to share education and training opportunities within VASCERN to:

🔹 Increase knowledge in the field of rare multisystemic vascular diseases

🔹 Exchange best practices in diagnosis, treatment, and patient management

🔹 Expand cross-border collaboration in research and care

ERASMUS+ Learning Mobility Programme

Through the ERASMUS+ learning mobility programme, our alumni have the opportunity to visit one of our expert centres for a period of traineeship/training.

Who can apply?

Former participants of the VASCERN Summer School 2024 and 2025 edition.

Funding opportunities

The project can be funded by the ERASMUS+ Programme (mobility projects for higher education students and staff). To be eligible, participants must either:

  • Be enrolled in a a cycle of study at a higher education institution with valid accreditation* or,
  • Be employed by a higher education institution with valid accreditation* 

*Awarded with the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education.

Self-funding is also an option for those who do not qualify for ERASMUS+ funding.

Mobility details

  • Start Date: To be decided with experts
  • Duration: Short or long-term mobility, depending on the participant’s cycle of study or employment status (see table of criteria)
  • Location: VASCERN expert centres across Europe (check the training proposals section)

How to apply
  1. Contact your university or institution for details on your eligibility and type of funding needed for the ERASMUS+ learning mobility programme application.
  2. Email VASCERN Coordination Team with your updated CV outlining:
    • Your preferred proposition above 
    • The type of training you are eligible for
    • How this opportunity could contribute to your professional development

The program in the proposals are general and can be more specific depending on you and the host expert centre.
