Vascular Anomalies (VASCA)
The Vascular Anomalies (VASCA) European Patient Advocacy Group (ePAG) ensures that the voices of patients living with rare vascular anomalies such as lymphatic malformations, capillary malformations, arteriovenous malformations, and infantile haemangiomas are heard in the clinical, research, and care initiatives led by VASCERN.
What are Vascular Anomalies?
Vascular anomalies are a group of rare conditions that affect the blood vessels and lymphatic system. They can present as malformations of capillaries, veins, arteries, or lymphatic vessels, often leading to significant health complications depending on their size and location. These conditions require specialised care and ongoing management to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
