Vascular Anomalies Working Group (VASCA-WG) Case Discussions

The field of vascular anomalies poses unique challenges to healthcare professionals, requiring a multidisciplinary approach for effective diagnosis and management. The monthly patient case discussions organized by the Vascular Anomalies Working Group (VASCA-WG) serve as a platform for healthcare professionals to share insights, discuss challenging cases, and collaborate on reaching a proper diagnosis. These sessions leverage the capabilities of a clinical patient management system, providing a secure and efficient platform for reviewing patient data, medical imaging, and treatment plans.

In this month’s case discussions, healthcare experts from Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal and Sweden came together to discuss an external case from Portugal and another case from Spain. The diversity of perspectives allowed for a more comprehensive evaluation of the case, ensuring that the proposed treatment plan was not only evidence-based but also reflective of the varied approaches to healthcare in different countries.
