VASCERN selected for EU eHealth Funding

VASCERN (as well as other European Reference Networks for rare diseases) has answer to the Connecting Europe Facility Telecom Call 2017 on eHealth for ERNs last September. VASCERN’s proposal as well as other ERNs proposals have been selected for Funding!

Next steps are the Preparation and signature of the grant agreements by June 2018!

It is a 75% EU co-funding (maximum EU contribution of 125 000 euros) to support the operational implementation of the Clinical Patient Management System, the innovative cross-border telemedicine tool which is provided by the European Union to all ERNs.

CEF Telecom 2017 Selected projects for funding

The Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) is a key EU funding instrument developed specifically to direct investment into European transport, energy and digital infrastructures to address identified missing links and bottlenecks.
