Three New Pills of Knowledge videos on Lymphatic Malformations and Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome now available!

Three new Pills of Knowledge (PoK) videos from the Vascular Anomalies Working Group (VASCA-WG) have just been published on the VASCERN Youtube Channel!

Created by HEVAS (the Dutch Patient organisation for haemangioma and vascular malformations) these PoKs were then revised and validated by the VASCA WG and are an excellent resource for information on the following topics:

1. The lymphatic system & lymphatic malformations

This PoK video gives an introduction on the lymphatic system and lymphatic malformations. It is intended for patients and the general public and uses simple language to explain the various medical terms discussed.

Subtitles are currently available in English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Swedish.

2. Treatment of lymphatic malformations

This PoK video, that follows the lymphatic system and lymphatic malformations video, presents the various treatment options for lymphatic malformations. It is intended for patients and the general public and uses simple language to explain the various medical terms and procedures discussed.

Subtitles are currently available in English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Swedish.

3. Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome (KTS)

This PoK video gives an introduction to Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome (KTS), a congenital vascular bone syndrome. It is intended for patients and the general public and uses simple language to explain the clinical characteristics of this rare disease.

Subtitles are currently only available in English but we are in the process of translating them and they will be added when ready.
