The ERN Clinical Patient Management System (CPMS) is officially launched!

The much anticipated Clinical Patient Management System (CPMS) was released by the European Commission (DG SANTE) on Monday, November 20^th, 2017 at 12:00 CET! This secure web-based application will be the platform where healthcare professionals from the European Reference Networks (ERNs) discuss real patient cases. The first few months will focus on the enrolment of the first patients into the CPMS by each ERN and the launch of the first virtual panels, as users get acquainted to the functionalities of the platform.

The CPMS will eventually allow for doctors outside of the ERNs to enrol patients from their healthcare providers (HCPs) in order to seek diagnosis, care and treatment advice from the highly specialized HCP representatives of each ERN.

With this additional tool, VASCERN looks forward to sharing the knowledge and experience of our medical specialists in the hopes of improving the lives of all patients with rare multisystemic vascular diseases across Europe.
