The Rare Disease Knowledge (RDKTM) application has been honored with the Prize for Digital Innovation at the fourth Talents in e-Health ceremony, organised by Agence du Numérique en Santé and the Délégation au Numérique en Santé. This recognition underscores the groundbreaking work of Tekkare and Orphanet in co-developing this innovative digital tool.

RDKTM is a cutting-edge digital tool that represents a major breakthrough in the healthcare sector, particularly in the diagnosis and management of rare diseases. Developed with the expertise of Orphanet and the technological acumen of Tekkare, this app addresses the critical need for accurate and timely diagnosis, which is often a major hurdle for patients with rare diseases. Through its innovative features, RDK is poised to transform the landscape of healthcare for rare diseases.

RDKTM has 3 main features:

  • Search by sign or symptom, helping the healthcare professional make the first step to identifying a potential rare disease.
  • Find the expert centres able to diagnose and advise on care of the rare disease(s) identified.
  • Access up-to-date knowledge on rare diseases through summary sheets

RDKTM is a free, easy-to-use application that does not collect any personal data from the patient/professional. It does not establish a definitive diagnosis.

RDKTM (Rare Disease Knowledge) is available as a web app via rdk.asweknow.com and as a mobile app via the App Store (only in France) and Google Play
