Revision of Rare Vascular Tumors in the Orphanet Database
The theme for Rare Disease Day 2019 was announced this month and it is a very important one for the rare disease community: Bridging health and social care!
“The 12th edition of Rare Disease Day will focus on bridging the gaps in the coordination between medical, social and support services in order to tackle the challenges that people living with a rare disease and their families around the world face every day.”
Rare Disease Day takes place on the last day of February each year and aims to raise awareness for rare diseases amongst the general public, healthcare professionals and decision-makers in order to address the needs of those living with rare diseases.
