This new CEF Telecom call for eHealth goal is to ensure adequate and efficient use of the ERN (European Reference Networks) Core Services (Clinical Patient Management System and ERN Collaborative Platform) by the members of the ERNs, through:

1/ Implementation of e-Learning / e-Training tools within the ERN

2/ Implementation of one or more new datasets for disease-specific adaptation of the ERN Clinical Patient Management System (CPMS) and/or implementation of measures to improve existing data set(s) quality and data validation.

3/ Acquisition of hardware, software and/or asset maintenance necessary to implement activities 1 and/or 2 above and to ensure the connection of Health Care Providers (HCPs) to the ERN Core Services. This may include the continued maintenance of the operational helpdesks set up and funded under the CEF WP 2017 and/or equipment such as cameras, microphones, etc.

VASCERN has already signed the Grant Agreement related to the CEF 2017 call for proposals. This will enable our network to have a dedicated support helpdesk to implement the Clinical Patient Management System for complex cross-border virtual clinical case discussions. We will soon be advertising this new job opportunity on our website.
