Revision of Rare Vascular Tumors in the Orphanet Database
We would like to welcome Aaike van Oord to VASCERN as patient advocate of the European Patient Advocate Group (ePAG) for Vascular Anomalies!
Aaike is from the Netherlands, and is Chair of both LGD Alliance Europe and the LGD Alliance Nederland. He will be replacing former ePAG advocate Ange van der Velden. His professional background is science communication and he works part time for the Biobanking and Biomolecular Research resources Infrastructure of the Netherlands (BBMRI_NL) and a national helpdesk on ethical and legal issues for patients and researchers.
We were lucky enough to have Aaike join us at VASCERN Days 2019, where he participated in both the ePAG and VASCA WG sessions and brought his experience and valuable insights. We look forward to fruitful collaborations.
