VASCERN’s Vascular Anomalies Working Group (VASCA WG) played a pivotal role, showcasing their expertise and commitment to improving patient care in the field of vascular anomalies.

At the congress, patient organizations from VASCERN’s VASCA working group had their own table to highlight the work of their organizations, as well as the second edition of the VASCA magazine. The magazine is an important resource filled with the latest information, research updates, and inspiring personal stories. The magazine was well received and reinforced VASCERN’s commitment to patient education, support and empowerment.
A significant highlight of the congress was recognizing Prof. Leo Schultze Kool’s new role as President of the International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies (ISSVA). Prof. Schultze Kool, Co-Chair of the VASCA WG, has been a driving force in advancing the field through his innovative research and collaborative approach. His appointment as ISSVA President is a testament to his leadership, vision, and unwavering dedication to improving patient care worldwide.
