We are thrilled to announce the ERICA 4th General Assembly & ERN Research Conference, taking place from December 11th to December 13th, 2024, in Udine, Italy. This significant event is proudly hosted by MetabERN.
About the Event
The ERICA consortium, which includes all 24 European Reference Networks (ERNs), aims to leverage the strengths of each ERN to create a unified platform that enhances research and innovation across all networks. The ERICA Conference is an excellent opportunity for the ERN research community to connect, share their work, and discuss the future of ERN-related research.
Key Objectives
- Networking and Collaboration: Meet and greet the vibrant ERN research community.
- Project Presentations: Showcase ongoing research projects involving ERNs.
- Future Discussions: Engage in discussions about the future direction of ERN research.
Call to Stakeholders
ERICA invites all stakeholders to reflect on the nature and scope of ERN research. What defines ERN research, and what should it encompass? The goal is to establish a cohesive identity for ERN research and set standards for future Rare Disease Programs and the Clinical Research Network.
Encouraging New Talent
ERICA is particularly excited to spotlight emerging talent in ERN research. They encourage rising stars to respond to their Call for Abstracts. The best submissions will have the chance to present their posters at the conference and may be selected to write a paper for a special supplemental issue of the “Current and Future of ERN Research” in the Orphanet Journal of Rare Diseases.
Call for Abstracts
ERICA is now accepting abstracts related to ERN research. Please see the call text and regulations for abstract submission. The deadline for submissions is October 1st, 2024.
