Empowering Patients: Marfan Foundation’s International Patient Symposiums in Europe

SHARE
International Symposia Europe 2024

This year, to empower people living with Marfan syndrome, Loeys-Dietz syndrome and vascular Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (vEDS), the Marfan Foundation is hosting one-day symposiums in Europe.

The Marfan Foundation has long provided the global community with access to virtual programs such as webinars and online support groups. However, the value of in-person meetings cannot be overstated. These symposiums provide a unique opportunity for attendees to connect face-to-face with others who share similar experiences, as well as with leading medical professionals who specialize in these conditions.

Event Details

  • Oslo, Norway: August 25, 2024
  • London, England: August 31, 2024

Both events will feature renowned medical experts from Europe, including members of the Marfan Foundation’s Professional Advisory Board. The symposiums are open to everyone worldwide and provide a welcoming environment for patients, families and medical professionals to gather, share and learn.

The London Symposium is co-organized by Marfan Trust UK, The Aortic Dissection Charitable Trust, and Annabelle’s Challenge, with special thanks to Terumo Aortic for their sponsorship. The Oslo Symposium is co-hosted by Marfan.dk, Marfanforeningen, Suomen Marfan-yhdistys ry, and Svenska Marfanföreningen.

We encourage our community to take advantage of these invaluable opportunities to connect, learn and grow. These events are an important step in improving the lives of those affected by rare vascular diseases through collaboration and shared knowledge.

Registration is required to attend these symposiums, but there is no fee to participate. Click the links below to register.
