The Pregnancy Transversal Working Group (WG) within VASCERN is dedicated to addressing the unique challenges and considerations that arise when managing pregnancy in women with rare vascular diseases. This multidisciplinary working group brings together healthcare professionals from various specialities to develop guidelines and resources that improve care for pregnant women with conditions such as Heritable Thoracic Aortic Diseases (HTAD), Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (vEDS), and other rare vascular diseases. The group’s goal is to ensure that both mother and baby receive optimal care throughout pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum care.
