Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (vEDS) & Medium-Sized Arteries Spring Meeting

The Erasmus University Medical Center, a key member of VASCERN’s Medium-Sized Arteries Working Group, will host two important events this spring:

• The European Symposium on Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (vEDS) on April 1st, 2025.
• The Medium-Sized Arteries Working Group Annual Spring Meeting on April 2nd, 2025.

These events bring together healthcare professionals, researchers, and patient advocates to share the latest advancements in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of rare vascular diseases, with a focus on vEDS.

Day 1: European Symposium on Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (vEDS)

This symposium is designed for healthcare providers, researchers, and patients interested in improving outcomes for individuals with vEDS. Sessions will focus on sharing practical knowledge, clinical updates, and the latest research findings to enhance understanding and care for this rare condition.

• Understanding the genetics of vEDS: Learn about the genetic basis of vEDS and the role of genetic testing in diagnosis.

Day 2: Medium-Sized Arteries Working Group Spring Meeting

On the second day, the Medium-Sized Arteries Working Group will meet for its Annual Spring Meeting. This event provides a platform for experts in the group to collaborate on several projects aimed at improving the management of vEDS.
