National Workshop on Patients’ Rights and Rare Diseases

On the occasion of World Rare Diseases Day, the Ministry for Health and Active Ageing is pleased to invite you to a one-day workshop on Cross-Border Healthcare, Patients’ Rights and Rare Diseases, a project spearheaded by the Office of the Chief Medical Officer.

The workshop is organized in collaboration with the European Commission and is held under distinguished patronage of His Excellency George Vella, President of Malta.

Date: Thursday, 29th February 2024

Time: 08:30 – 15:30

Venue: Mediterranean Conference Centre, Valletta 

We are inviting a wide audience including people from the Ministries, NGOs, National contact points on Cross-border healthcare, European Reference Networks (ERNs) and beyond. The objective of this event is to raise awareness on patients’ rights on Cross-border health, ERNs, and Rare Diseases.
