The Marfan Foundation will host the Fifth Annual Spanish-Language Summit on Saturday, 24 January 2026, from 16:00 to 18:30 (Central European Time). This free virtual event provides education, medical guidance, and community support for people affected by Marfan syndrome, Loeys-Dietz syndrome (LDS), Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (VEDS), and related connective tissue conditions.
All presentations will be delivered entirely in Spanish, making this summit one of the most accessible global events for Spanish-speaking patients and families across Spain, Latin America, the Caribbean, and beyond.
Participants will learn about:
- Advances in research on Marfan, LDS, and vEDS
- Genetics and family planning
- Daily life with connective tissue conditions
- How to access specialised care in Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, and Argentina
International panel of experts
This year’s spanish-language summit brings together medical specialists from across Europe, Latin America, and the United States will present at the summit. The panel includes two VASCERN members:

- Dr. Gisela Teixidó i Turà, Vall d’Hebron University Hospital, Spain
