The European Stroke Organisation (ESO) and VASCERN, the European Reference Network on Rare Multisystemic Vascular Diseases, will host a joint webinar on Rare Cerebrovascular Disorders: The European Network Approach on 11 December 2025 from 16:00 to 17:00 CET. 

This webinar will highlight practical, clinically relevant tools developed within the Neurovascular Diseases (NEUROVASC) Working Group to support the diagnosis and management of rare cerebrovascular disorders such as CADASIL and Moyamoya Angiopathy.

Programme and expert speakers

Two leading experts in rare cerebrovascular disorders will present insights from European clinical practice and network collaboration:

  • Dominique Hervé (Lariboisière Hospital, AP-HP Nord, Université de Paris, France): Tools and Registries to Support Rare Vascular Disorders Care
  • Nicola Rifino (Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Neurologico “Carlo Besta”, Italy): Tools in Daily Clinical Practice: Supporting Physicians in CADASIL and Moyamoya Angiopathy

Following the presentations, an interactive discussion will be moderated by:

  • Marieta Peitcheva (Bulgaria)
  • Saskia Lesnik Oberstein (Netherlands)

This session will allow participants to ask questions, exchange experience, and learn how the European Reference Network collaborate to improve rare cerebrovascular care.
