
Two key meetings on Hereditary Haemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT) will take place in April 2025, gathering healthcare professionals, researchers, and patients/caregivers from across Europe. These meetings aim to advance clinical knowledge, share research findings, and strengthen collaboration across the HHT community.
Based on Evidence European (BEE) Meeting
The Based on Evidence European (BEE) Meeting is a one-day, bi-annual educational symposium that brings together HHT experts, clinicians, researchers, healthcare professionals, and patients from across Europe. Established to encourage collaboration and knowledge exchange, the BEE Meeting focuses on the latest research, evidence-based clinical practices, and innovative treatment approaches in Hereditary Haemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT).
The full-day programme will include presentations and expert discussions on:
- Diagnosis and genetics in HHT
- Patient perspectives
- Management of HHT symptoms affecting the nose, lungs, liver, heart, brain, and gastrointestinal system
- Special focus on pregnancy, children, anaemia, and psychological aspects
- Updates on systemic treatments and clinical approaches
- Interactive sessions and a final round-up of key messages
Presenters include experts from leading HHT centres across Europe, including Guido Manfredi, Sophie Dupuis-Girod, Urban Geisthoff, Anette Kjeldsen, Freya Droege, and many others.
This meeting is open to healthcare professionals, researchers, patient advocates, and invited guests. It is also being reviewed for CME accreditation.

VASCERN HHT-WG Spring Meeting
The VASCERN HHT Spring Meeting is a closed meeting for members of the HHT-WG, including healthcare professionals, and European Patient Advocacy Group (ePAG) representatives.
Topics will include:
- Progress on work packages and cross-border care
- Registries and clinical trials
- ERN updates and future collaborative initiatives
This internal meeting provides an important space for collaboration, reflection, and strategic planning for ongoing and upcoming HHT initiatives within VASCERN.
